Having DHS search the laptop on return to the US would indicate that he traveled on a regular commercial flight. If he was traveling by private plane it would be much easier to conceal a laptop with CP. I don't doubt that politicans likely have been issued 2nd ID documents but traveling to coloumbia 3x on those docs would be absolutely retarded. There is a chance that he may have tried to "ghost" in and out of the country by traveling to a 3rd country on his real ID then on from there to columbia on 2nd ID documents. (chink spies use this method to enter the US). I feel the most likely case is that he used a friends ID who looked similar to him. Passport flagged for 3x trips to columbia by a non-columbian->slip up on identity questions in customs->laptop gets imaged during secondary screening->Oops all CP!
