Jay Dyer is perpetually miserable man who weaponizes the righteous anger of today’s young men to “seek Orthodoxy” for political reasons rather than anything religious or holy. He spends 85% of his time targeting other Christians with hostility rather than speaking about the actual religion. He’s good for Muslim bashing though, but even the Roman Catholics do that better now since they don’t rely on vaporwave onions face thumbnails to clown on the lowest common denominator of Muslims. Now that Sam Shamoun and Apostate Prophet went Catholic, it’s only become more apparent he’s not even the best in field at it anymore. Hell, even Trent Horn has deconstructed Islam more succinctly than Jay has, in a way that will actually get people to listen to. He’s also defended the faith better against liberals as well (compare Trent’s Destiny debate with Jay’s camwhore debate).

Jay also bagged a woman who’s literally infertile. I’m sure she’s great, but let’s not say that him being able to date SOMEONE at his church is evidence his mentality is going to work anywhere else unless you’re a literal theologian next to a very specific autistic woman whose barren. I wish them well, in the actual sense. I would like to see him act more gracious, as he is an awful voice for Orthodoxy.
