Anonymous (ID: dlYMHUfv) Australia No.510414018 [Report]
Looks ok, should be cheaper but we're so abused that at this point that price looks amazing, if it was a mortgage maybe.
BUT
Our retarded (western) societies won't say:
>"hey, this is for either 1 person or 1 couple, not 6 people all unrelated to each other"
Because that's racist or some bullshit.

Meanwhile, you go to some parts of asia they outright say "you can live here if [x]% of the apartment block is native people, otherwise you can't" and they've also got foreign ownership laws exactly so foreign money doesn't try and turn the place into flophouses so slumlords can make money off of misery.
You aren't able to properly live and actualize yourself when you're renting with strangers and living on top of each other. You just exist.

It might not be shown but there is likely a small vent in there so you can run the dryer with the door closed, I had a place like that. It's also so that you can more easily put the clothes straight from the machine onto the fold-up clothesline on the balcony. I'd take setting it up this way and subtracting space from the balcony than putting it in the lounge/kitchen area where I'd spend much more of my time.

They’re stupidly overpriced shitboxes. But they’re better than living in your car, and frankly the way we construct homes in this country, they’re better built and far cheaper to service. Most of the US should be burned to the fucking ground and replaced by temporary tent cities that migrate with the seasons. But enjoy all the fucking personal, physical, mental and social rot that comes from this sedentary shit hoarding failed 18th century British industrial class society. Maybe it’ll magically start working out one of these centuries. lol the f it will

Yeah I just realized after I typed that that I'm in Australia, so here it wouldn't be that bad weather wise, it would definitely depend on the climate you are in.
Some places where there are blizzards n' shit it would be absurd. The arrangement of the balcony not being in a straight line from the living area also makes me think this is in an apartment block where some apartments *would* be arranged that way because some people would want their bedroom window to get unobstructed sun, without the balcony in the way.

I imagine in the same apartment block there

You could live in a cardboard box under a train overpass down by the river. You could live as a wandering vagrant never sleeping in the same place twice. I'll live in my 2000 square foot glorious inefficient utilage of space on my property that is large enough for 3 four story apartment buildings, and a sufficiently sized parking lot that I instead just use as a shooting range. If I dont shoot those trees who will?!

actually quite comfy for a single guy who has normal interests and doesn't stay home all day
if the person shift the seat away in the living room he can setup a comfy workbench by the window in the living room
not having a dining room though is kind of a minus if you want to have friends come over
I lived in spaces like this when I was young, it's pretty comfy

>"Fuck you got mine"
I hope you are just taking the piss and don't actually mean this, because it means a total lack of awareness of the system you are living in. See, I live someplace nice as well but I don't want to live like people in "nice places" do in South Africa or Brazil where kidnapping us or our kids and ransoming them back is an actual job that some people have, or you have to pay out the ass for security systems, money you'd rather spend on your F150 or whatever it is you are driving.
That is one reason why this should matter to you.

All 1 bedroom apartments are like this, I've never even heard of a 1 bedroom place having 2 bathrooms. Some make it easier by having the bathroom not accessed via the master bedroom but most people prefer it that way because they're not hosting guests all the time.

honestly if they just switched the cabinets to the outer wall then a door to the bathroom could be off the kitchen which is weird too but still better than needing your cat's litter box off your bedroom

I don’t like ones where you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. They used to be a good place to stay and save, bought a 3/2.5 house in 2020 after staying in a one bedroom for 9 years. My mortgage is about what I’d be spending for any 1 bedroom now.

Also, that's a really big kitchen for a 1 bedroom apartment, I'm not entirely sure what the thing next to the stove top is, a dish washer would be under the counter and that's way to big to be a microwave.... could just be bad scaling i guess.

If it's a town you can expect 300~500€ rent. Cities usually go 400~800€. It's only the hubs like Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia where rent gets out of hand, Valencia less though.

Shouldn't have problems renting or buying if you don't aim for tourist trap spots.
