It was company policy to be polite and engaging with customers, show where items are, etc and all the little shits including me abided by the policy. Despite taking leisures elsewhere.
Something has changed. Either companies have stopped enforcing customer service, or the zoomers are collectively refusing to do it and there's nothing the companies can do.
Just last night I went to the hardware store and asked some zoomer with braces where something was, and he literally said 'all that shit's down aisle 10' and walked away.
I laughed but was a bit taken aback. They do not give a fuck and it is kind of annoying being on the receiving end of it.
