I grew up in a NJ suburb not locking my doors, and I'm a millenial. The parents of all the kids kept tabs on things. Some were nosy, but most were happy to just keep a watchful eye on the comings and goings and inform on anything out of tge ordinary.

Demographic shift + internet ruined life. I have zero interaction with foreign familes in my new suburb, not that I am actively seeking it, but for all the bullshit about cultural diversity, they self-segregate and put up walls. From utopia to ptsd.

I live at Bass Lake, Indiana.

Niggers can't afford to live here. All white community, we have these honor system boxes everywhere and they work great. We all drive golf carts around and everyone is super friendly.
