I don't understand how people can not see how they're falling for propaganda in the year of our lord when everyone should be hyper vigilant of fake news and AI content. Why is it so hard to juggle two or three ideas in your head and work out how logical and rational they are in practice. How did critical thinking become so poor in this country?
I specifically think America has borne the brunt of this, because I'll see an American talking head or pundit like Ben Shapiro or Tucker Carlson try their shtick in a foreign space and get absolutely dogwalked.

Instead of having boring, competent news it's highly emotional, agenda-driven propagandist who don't actually make any sense but make people incapable of critical thinking feel better about themselves. These people now trust and believe whatever shit is spewed in their general direction, regardless od how little sense it actually makes.
I just don't know how to fix it, but it's getting worse and worse.
