Every last bit of it is soothing to the soul until you're trying to sleep in 77 degrees at 98 percent humidity with no breeze.

We've left nature behind, and we need to get back to almost all of it, but climate control is a blessing from the lord.

Iโ€™m so happy to live next to Stanley park. Every moment I am free I walk the sea wall, cycle, walk through trails, bird watch. The heron population is doing good and there are places with schools of fish you can see and you can watch the herons sniping them out of the water. So relaxing desu. But I wore a gold necklace for a week in the sun and not I have a necklace shaped lobster burn on my neck

What a fake photo.
"So I said 'listen Jack, if you're not going to wear a rubber, you're not fucking my butthole!" to which he laughed loudly and raped my ass anyway, which I always intended.
"I hear you. I buggered the 4runner salesman who sold me this $75,000 SUV that should cost less than half that. Fucked him right in the coat closet at the dealership."
"yeah, we sure are two very gay guys,"
"Should we light this fire?"
"No, we're just here for the photo shoot. We don't even know who lives here, but we're going to go try to have gay sex with him afterwards."
"That's great. I sure do like men's butts and penises."
"I do too, buddy. Hey, you want a quick blowjob?"
"You know it! Don't forget to finger my ass."
"Never"

Stanley park is amazing. I swear the animals like human interaction because the seals always play along the sea wall where people watch them, the herons position themselves close to crowds so people can watch them, crows hang around people and will hop around within feet of you- even seagulls will swim around the area when they are in leisure mode. Itโ€™s funny but I think human and animal recreation happens there. Whenever I see seagulls and geese there they are either chilling in the sun or floating around like ducks. So peaceful.

Plus cycling there first thing in the morning when you can rip through even the tourist trails before it gets too hotโ€ฆ so nice

Itโ€™s almost beyond lost caution but I think birds actually hunt outside the park and go there for recreation. Geese and seagulls in recreation mode just float around like ducks and lay on the beach getting sun. When they are in survival mode they are hanging outside my office digging through garbage bins. I think they eat garbage and then go to the park to relax

Watching nature in general is great, but I think bird watching is especially dear to many because you don't have to do a lot of moving around. There aren't a lot of "slow bird days." You can be relatively inactive, drive out somewhere a specific bird is reported to be, and you'll have plenty of watching to do. There are a lot of places all up and down the Mississippi and most of the larger rivers where bald eagle watching is a seasonal, though dependable activity. Hundreds of bald eagles all in one place.

I have to admit, that doesn't look like some place I'd want to wake up. The logistics of the first shit of the morning are baffling, especially with a companion. Camping gear is expensive just like fishing gear. Unless you do it twice month it's not worth. It's only enjoyable when the weather is nice and outright miserable when it's cold, raining or sweltering. Also if it' mosquito season, enjoy getting eaten alive. I used to do camping thinking I could get away from it all for a three day weekend. What found is that once you're in your late thirties it becomes too exhausting to be enjoyable. Camping takes a lot of energy. I found that whenever I got back I was totally exhausted and needed a day to sleep and rest before returning to work. That's not a vacation. It's a weekend devoted to physical labor. Also it's a waste of time. You're not getting anything done in your home when you're fucking off with a campfire in the woods. I found that it wasn't helping me with bettering my life. It was a burden that drained my money, time and energy. At the end of it, it just made my life more miserable.

Both camping and fishing gear have grown in cost exponentially, despite cheap labor producing it all. I found a receipt for fishing lures yesterday from the 90s. $1.99, $1.99, $2.39... etc. They're $10 on clearance now for the types of lures I have. The costs of the gear have risen 500%. Has your pay?

Gross. At Stanley park homos go there at night to give each other siphilis. During the day itโ€™s great but at nightโ€ฆ homos will walk up to you and say weirdo shit. Even homeless are scared to sleep their at night because goody bandits will prowl around looking to rape sleepers

I go walking up to around 9pm and have never had any weirdo shut happen but once it gets darkโ€ฆ.

Lmao. Are you sure you didn't stumble upon a scarecrow or effigy of some kind? Their are lots of spooky ass people out in the deep woods though speaking from experience. I've happened across all kinds of strange shit out there, most notably something that was clearly a sacrificial altar of some kind surrounded by four stone "gateways" with strange runic markings carved into them. After studying the area for about 5 minutes I started hearing dogs barking and hightailed outta there.

I'm 47 and sleeping in the ground is a reset for my back, get a great sleep and when I get back to comfort my body both appreciates it and doesn't complain as much. Bring the wife and kids and a inflatable paddleboard to a lake in the middle of nowhere and you've got heaven.
Love tenting, have a fifth wheel but would rather go tent in a place with no power because those are the best spots and they are all but empty now.
Human beings really are cucked, which means the places further a field are reverting to what they used to be: pristine free and human corruption.

Imagine the mind set of leaving the city to go into nature, only to bring a $50000 home away home you need a $50000 vehicle to pull, and surround yourself with 'like minded' strangers. Like moving into a different cul-de-sac for a weekend and pretending you're camping.

No way.
I mean, it's definitely not sleeping weather, but the everglades would be amazing to explore. You can harvest anaconda and python skins and meat all day long without a permit. If I'm not mistaken, there are a few other invasive species you can harvest with a rampage-like blood lust for death and violence, and the state will say "thanks."
I mean, if you're into that. Seems like you could benefit from a nearly unlimited resource with no competition, no matter what it is. Even sand has buyers. Anaconda skins have to have some value.
Or build a massive insect trap and start an insect burger craze.

In some places, not bringing at least a mosquito net means you're going to wake up with hundreds of mosquito bites. Also, the morning dew can be pretty annoying. I respect the effort and the adventure of what you do, but it's not universally practical. That said, nobody needs a five-room cabin tent that you can walk upright in.

For some reason bugs are never an issue if you stay away from human settlements and take some care with site selection and timing. If it rains I sleep sitting in Hilux driver's seat. Being able to sleep in the seat means I can sleep anywhere for an hour or two. I never have to worry where I will spend the night. Sleeping in a tent should be a yearly thing every man does, with their wife and kids or in their own, that they come to enjoy for what it actually is: a reminder of the best possible reality from human history, feeling safe, content, and at one with nature while living within it.

Liquid G is one of the date rape drugs that isn't a roofie. A sip of it is like a six pack of beer. You just get really, really drunk, but you're still moving to an extent. It's one of those things scumbags will give a girl and then "walk her home" because she got too drunk. I've never knowingly had any myself, honestly, but I've woken up naked with a woman I don't recall going to bed with the night before, and I suspect her drink was spiked by someone, and I vaguely recall one of those "Here, have some of my drink" scenarios you have with drunk chicks. You lose memory and immediately act like you've been drinking heavily for hours.

>in this country
Isn't your country tiny and densely inhabited? You might have to travel a little to find a spot. There are huge areas of this country that are uncampable. Sometimes I drive 400 kms to find a nice place. Sleeping in the driver's seat is a superpower if you have a car. You can snatch 2 hour naps easy enough.

At a campground, sure. Don't take your kids out hours away from anything on foot ifnyou aren't well prepared and knownwhat you're doing
>>fresh air
Yes
>>cool animals to see and hear
That's part of the problem and what you need to be prepared for
>>explore new territory and environments
You should never just set out and just wander without knowledge of the area or a plan dor exactly where you're going

Curated campgrounds are one thing but being way out in the badlands, deep in the rockies, or out on the AT doing real camping and hiking underestimating nature gets people killed.

I can't speak to that anon's specific location, but that general (GENERAL) region of Europe is supposed to have some of the world's largest primeval deciduous forests. I never would have suspected it. Some of them are regarded with medieval type fears, like nothing good happens in the forest.

Many airports are in the countryside and close to good camping. Even at Heathrow you can get a cheap bus to Windsor and chill. I once hitchiked out of the Zurich airport and the driver dropped me on a camping bicycle trail. Take the hitchhiking pill.

I understand.
It's like watching TV and expecting to not see fags everywhere. They're what? 4% of the world population? Less? But they're represented as if they're half of everyone everywhere. I joke about it freely because I think faggotry is hilarious, as long as it isn't in front of me. It's being promoted as some noble morality, but it's also not a choice, or if it is, who cares. Just deal with it - lots and lots of it that they'll throw directly in your face. Now go promote it and don't make fun of it.
But it's ripe for ridicule.

if I want to be in nature I just go hiking no reason to camp unless the hike is too long to complete in a day

then there's car camping but that's more just an excuse to get drunk with your friends
