nah, didn’t see the pyramids, they’re in cairo. we were in alexandria. saw the citadel of qaitbay, built on the ruins of the old lighthouse, pretty cool fort by the sea. also went to pompey’s pillar which is just a giant roman column standing in the middle of rubble and goats.
checked out the new library too. city’s full of noise, trash, cats and guys trying to sell you fake perfume. we mostly stayed in the hotel with the pool like proper western cattle
