On BLM and National Forest land you can generally camp for free up to 2 week in any given spot and as long as you move 1/2 a mile you can restart your 2 weeks...but generally if you keep your site clean and your not doing anything crazy nobody really checks or cares

Generally there will be worn established sites along a dirt road, no facilities. Sometimes a fire pit or table but usually just a flat patch of dirt....maybe a pit toilet down the road but not generally

Planet fitness black card is 25 dollars a month and you can find them everywhere

I used to be for a while, I just gave 600 a month to my parents and bought half their groceries. I could have rented something easily but it was a way better deal than giving all that money to some boomer landlord.

I don't know if it works like that for everyone but jobs are becoming more unstable and the real estate market keeps being shit so maybe it explains some of it.

I am the same way, brother. I'm late 30s, wife and kid and another kid coming, I make around 100k, wife doesn't work as we agree that raising kids and homemaking is good for a woman and a decent daycare is $2k a month anyway and fuck putting an infant in daycare what the fuck.

We're slowly saving up to buy a house... and waiting for rates and prices to fall. Meanwhile rents and grocery prices are rising which is making saving more difficult. It's absolute hell. I wonder what younger guys are doing and also what they can do. We live frugally, never eat out, and a 100k income ain't what it used to be by a long shot. The workplace is toxic and a hellscape, too.

I can't blame them for giving up and refusing to participate in this system. Women of their generation (and mine) seem like she-devils, too. I got extremely lucky finding my wife. She is happy taking care of the home and children, she likes to save money and thrift shop for clothes and furniture, she doesn't care about the politics or culture shit but sometimes she sees stuff and laughs at it (she naturally doesn't like shit we would describe as lefty or libshit).

If I were in these young mens' place, I don't know what I'd do. Actually, I know what I'd do but that's only with the hindsight of being almost 40 years old and having a lot of varied experience, myself. It sounds trite but as a young early 20s single man I would
