Trump supporters operate much the way royalists or whigs operate within a monarchial context: They see him as the font of power and law and his will goeth; In that sense, it is up to MAGA to convince the King in their direction and thus Pam Bondi is the threat who must be attacked, not Trump, as she is a rival royalist faction who successfully vied the king's ear.
