My ex gf used to seethe insanely hard if I lied to her. Nothing else made her more angry. I could probably have punched her in the face and she would have got less mad. Why did she care so much when I lied? I wasnt even cheating on her or anything. It would just be me lying for her benefit to just make her feel better about something. She also got extremely triggered any time I would say "fair enough" when having a conversation with her. She really hated that phrase for some reason.
