>>510493810You’re coping by pretending that the armed forces, intelligence services, and the political arm of the government are separate entities that have nothing to do with each other. China boosts support for Russia after Trump’s trade threats
Beijing and Moscow are drawing closer amid ultimatums, The Telegraph reports.
After President Trump warned of possible 100% tariffs on Russia’s trade partners unless Moscow makes concessions, China signaled it would not abandon its support for the Kremlin.
Chinese leader Xi Jinping, during a meeting with Lavrov, said that trust between the two countries has “deepened” and that they are “building a new type of international relations” in which they must “strengthen mutual support.”
The Kremlin did not ignore Trump’s statement. Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said that if the West does not respond to Russia’s “readiness to negotiate,” Moscow will continue pursuing its goals through the “special military operation.”
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov went even further, claiming sanctions mean nothing to Russia.
“There are already an unprecedented number of sanctions against us — we’re managing. I have no doubt we’ll continue to cope. Knowing our partners, I don’t see how they could abandon their independent policy. They have commitments,” Lavrov said.

You write yourself later that there were "no magic targets", but the Houthis STILL had targets which USN did not hit. Why were they not hit? Because American ground intelligence in Yemen is non-existent and they had to rely on satellite data (very limited in scope), whatever the kikes told them, and hitting "obvious" dual use targets like oil depots.

Instead, the Houthis had a lot of targets, some fortified, some not, some public and obvious, some not. To stop the Houthis from being able to attack ships, the US would need to hit far more targets than the USN and USAF forces had the capacity to hit. Got it?
>>510496441>So what's the point of repeating "if only the USN hit the Houthis hard enough!!!" when the USN did not know what to hit in the first place?Because there are targets that if destroyed would allow the US to win, unfortunately there are far more of them than American forces had the power to hit.

Yes!
It failed because it could have never succeeded within parameters established by the politicians which were (at their core): "no land invasion".
Moreover, it was greatly hampered by lack of ground intel and a shortage of established military or dual-use sites that USN can bomb with help of satellite data.
>So you're saying the whole thing was fake and gay from the start?Yes, absolutely.
No amount of bombs a CSG would throw at Houthis and no "permissible" amount of dead civilians/fighters would have stopped some cheeky Houthi facker from launching yet another drone against a defensless kike-owned container ship.

>Houthi movement lack a few critical centers that when destroyed will make the whole thing to halt and crumbleI already gave the answer away to another anon, so I'll summarize here. The OP was doomed a failure from the start because there was no ground component and no amount of targets the US could hit to force capitulation. Anyone writing "the US just didn't bomb them hard enough" is coping or delusional because it's impossible to "bomb harder" something you don't know IF it exists or WHERE it exists.
This also brings the political aspect into the question because each military action needs to have political offramps both in case of success and in case of failure. In this case the US political establishment did not prepare one for the "failure" case and instead just shrugged and swept the whole thing under the carpet. Had they done that work they would have chosen other approaches against the Houthis.
>>510497084It seems like two different theaters though. It's very hard to stamp out Hamas because they're embedded into a densely populated urban area in ruins. So jews are obliged to do what they fear the most: boots on the ground with IFVs and APCs, which are highly vulnerable to ambushes. As for Syria, they can just fly sorties bombing the living shit out of their military assets. And they have effectively crippled much of what was left of Assad's army through airstrikes on weapons stockpiles.

If somehow their resources are diminished, or if they are forced to commit more resources to Yemen, it will cause them to stop attacking ships.

On a thought, I think Russia and China are correct in not sharing anti-ship missiles with Ansarallah, because that would give the US a chance to figure out how to do damage control and adequately crew their ships.
>>510500333>build the necessary shipsWith what shipbuilding capacity? And I don't see the point of the US having a larger surface navy, specially how vulnerable ships are nowadays. Drone and missile spam is the way to go on modern naval warfare

I hope it is not true. Some anons said that Trump walked it back and doesn't want to do it. I don't know.

Why not allow the US to have an unadulterated Tsushima moment?
>>510500939>The core of the Chinese navy are Type-52 and specially Type-55 destroyers focused on spamming missilesI know. I think that whomever was behind the modernization of their navy did a brilliant job. Generally, when you look at history, you see that most navies prepare for future wars as if they would have to fight the last one again. You see this with the invention of the dreadnought and the dreadnought race before WWI and how much emphasis was placed on battleships after WWII. The war on the Pacific was shaped and decided by aircraft carriers, and now the US navy has more carriers than all other countries combined. I feel like those are extremely vulnerable to a mass attack of missiles and drones. Those wouldn't even need to be particularly advanced, as cheaper and older assets can and often do overwhelm more modern ones, as seen in Israel and Ukraine. The Chinese navy is better equiped for such a conflict.
>>510501534Nigga you need to start sharing links of where you hear these rumors.
Tomahawks will never be sent for two reasons:
- They are nuclear-capable and thus a huge provocation to Russia.
- They are primarily launched from ships and while US did make a ground launcher for them it is very new (entered service in 2023) and very few exist.

>>510501261>Is "all surface vessels are obsolete" the new "tanks are obsolete" of the schizo-based online community?A few points.
1. Military navy vessels are orders of magnitude more difficult and costly to produce than tanks.
2. They require way more crew.
3. They take way longer to deploy.
4. They take way longer to produce or replace.
5. They are all of remains of the military prestige of the jewnited states. Losing them to missiles while trying to chase updoots from losers on roddit and twatter would be devastating. Way more damaging than losing Abrahams tanks, which was pretty damaging in and of itself. If you lose a carrier to a missile you're fucking cooked.
6. They cannot be protected even from Kh-22 from the 60s, or Kh-31 antiship variant from the 90s or. Let along more modern anti-ship missiles like Onyx, lmfao.
