what's up with root canals?

i thought it was pretty standard shit, but seems like a lot of people blame them for long-standing health issues. i'm thinking at least a percentage of these complaints are from people that didn't or couldn't go to a specialist, and they got a half-assed leaky root canal that got reinfected.

then again root canal treatment does seem kind of unnatural when you think about it.

the same crowd will tell you dental implants are also not good for you.

so we're supposed to get them pulled and walk around toothless? hard enough getting a date without missing teeth. what do?

if a filling is not enough, a root canal+crown can save tooth. alternative is either extraction or extraction+grafting+implant. obviously, root canal is least invasive among the three.
go to an actual endodontist, a general dentist who does 1 root canal a month is more likely to screw it up. have you ever seen a microscope in a general dentist's office? same for implants: go to someone who has had years of extra training and does 4 implant surgeries a day, not a general dentist who does a couple a month.

Every root canal is the result of exceptionally poor dental hygiene. When your oral hygiene is so poor that you destroy your own teeth by turning your face into a sewer, it also means you're likely to continue getting infections after your root canal.

This is what we call survivorship bias: people who need root canals are more likely to get mouth infections because otherwise they wouldn't need root canals in the first place.

root canal is quite invasive but its something you have to do or have the tooth pulled it means the tooth has been infected to the root and needs to be killed and filled, or pulled

here they are fairly common routine treatment especially for older folk and i havent heard of them going wrong, but we have White doctors
you have of course all sort of pajeet doctors who scammed their way through medical school, plus literal DEI black and spic doctors too.
so obviously considering that envinronment, you can absolutely create more health problems by using a non-white doctor and then him doing it wrong and having it get infected even worse.

if you pull a tooth, you can get one made out of porcelain (or even gold if you want to, kek) and replace it. this is probably the best option to do, but its also the most expensive.

important part is not to use scamming pajeets who never care about anything else than money, in fact pajeets are so scummy, that there has been cases of pajeet docs INTENTIONALLY fucking shit up, so they'd get more money off you with more work.
this is something that a White man wouldn't even think of doing, but is literally perfectly normal thing for pajeets.

meanwhile black doctors are not as evil as pajeets, they won't intentionally ruin your shit, but they get in to med school in USA with much lower scores and thus are incompetent.

Get a straight White male dentist with a good track record and you'll be fine

Get a proper endodontist to do your root canal, half-ass work can lead to infection and severe infection. I've had to intubate and eventually trach patients who had severe Ludwig's angina from tooth abscesses

i got hit in the back of the head and it caused my jaw to chomp down extra hard. had mild tooth pain there for months. went to my dentist. he referred to specialist. all scans and tests came back clear, so he thinks it is an invisible crack and recommends a crown. root canal if that doesn't work.

i had the same thought about hygiene for a lot of these people though.

Often they escape the law because when the family of some elderly person they did unnecessary dangerous operations on dies or gets injured and the doc gets found out, the doc will just pay the family off with hush money.

Never even needed a filling, and my diet is terrible and full of sugar.

When I came into the US illegally at ~10 years old I got a root canal from a brazillian lady working off an apartment. Twenty years later and it's still fine. Every now and then I feel like I dodged a heck of a bullet. Also saw a could of other dentists in apartments throughout the years, for whatever reason they opened up the hole the lady made, cleaned up in there and refilled it. Still fine.
