Hey atheists

How do you explain people who have near death experiences frequently reporting seeing Jesus and / or God when they’re close to death?

Not an atheist but Jesus was most certainly a demonically possessed sorcerer. You should not worship men. You should not elevate men to godhood.

Then when you die see the egregore of Jesus. Specifically White Jesus most of the time...which is just an egregore since Jesus wasn't white. Or it might be the spirit of the real Jesus sorcerer manipulating you but that doesnt make it real.

I am jewish. This is a pretty jewish view of christianity. 100% Judaism is the religion of truth.

I have had a near death experience and I never saw Jesus or the Jewish god. All I saw was an open green field under some windmills.

You dont see the jewish God when you die. Thats the christian version of God not the jewish one. Jewish one is more mysterious. Not anthropomorphic.

Regardless, it didn't convince me of the truth of any particular religion. I do miss the field though. It was a peaceful place.

I died in a lucid dream.
Everyone has a dream where they die but this was indistinguishable from a real life death,
Nothing can stop me now for I have already experienced the end.

I'm an atheist not because I think I know everything about the universe, only because I haven't been convinced a god is in it. If I die and I wake up in hell, I will be relieved that consciousness is eternal, but it still won't answer if some all-powerful being is running it all. If god is real, I want to ask it why bad things happen to the innocent.

I actually have died and was re-animated by eastern european gypsies. I can 100% confirm that nothing happens when you die except for cell death.
