Ivan, think about it logically. The country is currently being invaded. Like a third of it is under occupation. The people there can't participate in an election. There are millions of people who fled the country. How are you going to organize the voting process for them? There are millions of soldiers on the front lines. They have no way of securely voting. Whatever election you have now will simply not be representative of the will of the Ukrainian people. And it's not like suspending elections under martial law is a thing unique to Ukraine. It's a common practice in European countries. Britain didn't have elections for 10 years as a result of WW2. America doesn't have such a practice, because their territory is geographically safe from any realistic invasions. While it sucks, these are extraordinary times for Ukraine. And extraordinary times require extraordinary measures to ensure the nation's survival.
