I've seen Chinese, Filipino and even the small Japanese communities in Belfast provide housing, jobs and a high quality of education for their descendants. Well different kids are better suited to different parenting styles. I was one of those kids that needed discipline and structure not an endless supply of slop and apathy. My parents' inaction and indifference has caused me serious physical and mental health issues that I am now only reversing in my mid 20s.
