How does your government deal with this?

Personally, we have coyotes and bobcats roaming around and killing cats and some small dogs a bunch, or each other. Animal control gets called every so often

My ancestors, and likely yours had to deal with way worse encounters back in ye olden days so I’m not complaining at all

In the forest there are these things called "bears" more commonly known as "asshole of the forest". They go around biting people in the head. The government does nothing about it.

I went hog hunting once when I was in my early 20s with some country guys that wanted me over. They lost a dog that day. It charged a big boar and the tusk went clean through its neck. Rip

Boars kill less than 1 german per year. Mostly hunters.

The most dangerous animals here are probably wasps or bees.

Nice trips. The wildlife here is comprised of the local bagheads and the occasional fox. Worst thing I have to worry about is snails getting in my veg patch.

I sure hope nip bros gave this bloke his own anime or something.

>Ōkawa Haruyoshi, who was six years old and the son of the Sankebetsu village mayor Ōkawa Yosakichi at the time of the incident, grew up to become a prolific bear hunter. He swore an oath to kill ten bears for every victim of the attack. By the time he reached the age of 62, he had killed 102 bears.

a bear just killed a mailman in hokkiado the other day. there are men with rifles searching the woods for it now. they have to destroy it.
also 2 70-year-old men were killed in tokushima 4 days ago while trying to trap wild boar. they think the boar may have had cubs with it. and that's why it tore them up like that.
i don't know how common that is there, but 3 deaths from wildlife in a few weeks seems like a lot.
but, it's not like the citizens have many options to fend off wild animals being that guns are so restricted/regulated there.
the countryside is a dangerous place to go unarmed and unaware.

I once got scratched by a rabbit and my cat got his ear nipped by a fox. I could get kicked by a goat but I'd have to go find one.
I'm glad I won't get eaten by bears but it's a little disappointing having only normal, safe animals about.

I have lived in Colorado for over three years and have yet to see a rattlesnake or mountain lion.

I misread your question, whatever, I already typed this out.

I met my Australian relatives for the first time somewhere in the boonies of Queensland. We were on a boat in this swamp/river/marsh/grove/whatever and they wanted me to jump in to grab some of their crab nets (cages? I don't remember) for the authentic Australian experience or something and I was like "Wait, doesn't Australia have shitloads of crocodiles?" and they were like yeah, they're not in this particular area though. So I jumped in and dragged their nets up and like a week and a half later a tourist got killed by a crocodile pretty close to there and I was like holy hell man these people were trying to kill me.
Those crabs were delicious though.
