On the other hand the american people have been turned into the perfect consumers, paying ridiculous amounts of money for...anything basically, with a very unhealthy relationship with credit and a culture that glorifies consumism. A lot of people around the world makes a living or got rich on americans spending and buying overpriced crap . It's not out of malice especially since we are talking about consumer goods...you won't die if you go without and nobody forces you on you.
Trump is half honest ( a record in his case) when he says americans are taken advantage of...what he doesn't say is that the state does the same and worse. The problem with american education, for example, and healthcare is not that they are privatized.it's the insane pricing that are nowhere near the actual cost or value of what is billed. The state is deep in that grift.
