Saying nothing is his best move. If he comes out against Trump it's going to get him points with some conservatives, but it's going to turn Trump against him and it might possibly end his political career. If he comes out and agrees with Trump instead, then it's going to get him the same negative attention Trump is already getting, which might also end his political career. He's tied to Trump either way for the time being, so regardless of how he actually feels about it, just keeping his mouth shut works out best. I assume he'd like to be the next Republican nominee, so once that process starts he can say whatever he wants then (and he'll have to since he'll get grilled on it if this is still in the public consciousness).
