Emma Watson’s driving privileges in the UK have reportedly been revoked.
The “Harry Potter” star, 35, has been banned from driving in her home country after getting a speeding ticket, according to the BBC. She won’t be allowed to get behind the wheel for six months.
Watson reportedly had nine points on her license before the speeding incident occurred on July 31, 2024.

The beloved actress was pulled over for driving 38mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford, per the BBC, and issued a ticket for £1,044, which is approximately $1,4000.
She was reportedly also asked to appear at a five-minute hearing at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court earlier this week, but failed to do so, with her lawyer citing her responsibilities as a student as an excuse.
Watson has been getting her master’s degree at the University of Oxford since 2023. Prior to that, she got a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Brown University.
Despite her absence in court Wednesday, attorney Mark Haslam reportedly said on her behalf, “She is in a position to pay the fine.”
In a seemingly peculiar turn of events, the BBC also reported that Watson’s former “Harry Potter” co-star Zoe Wanamaker was also fined for speeding and had to be in court Wednesday.
She reportedly received the same punishment as Watson, receiving three points on her license, and therefore banning her from driving for six months, as well.
Page Six has reached out to Watson’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The actress shot to fame in the early aughts for her starring role as Hermione Granger in the fantasy franchise.
