Not that one.
Taurus has quite reliable metal framed handguns, and their revolvers are fantastic.
But their polymer striker fired pistols are dogshit.
I've owned a Taurus PT945 in blued steel for twenty five years, and is my go to carry. I also own the Taurus Judge, and it's great too.
Got a few other handguns, from Sig, Smith and Wesson, and Ruger, in multiple calibers, but for some reason I just prefer to carry the Taurus.
Go to a reputable dealer with a range attached to their store. Try a few different calibers, and a few different handguns. You may dislike a caliber in one firearm, and love it in a different firearm. Don't get caught up in the caliber and capacity wars. It's far more important to pick what you feel comfortable firing. A .40 with a 12+1 capacity is just as good as a 9mm with 17+1. If you are not in law enforcement, the chances of you getting into a gunfight are low, so even an 8+1 in .45 ACP is decent. Main thing to remember is to practice and if you do get into a shootout, know your firearm. SA/DA is better than striker fired, because if you get a light strike on a primer, you have to rerack your slide to fire again, and you lose that all important first shot that could be the one to save your life. I've put 20,000 rounds through my PT945 and it's still chugging away on it's third set of recoil springs. Practice.
