How do we convince the majority of the left to stop giving a fuck about the suffering of people who vote against their own interests?

I'm so very tired of supporting leeches, who think that any of this money is theirs, in the first fucking place. So, let them cut it all. I'm fine with state funding initiatives. Worse case, if some poorer blue states can't self-fund like IL, CA, NY, NJ, etc. can then ONLY create compacts/project sharing agreements amongst each other. It's perfectly legal, and has been repeatedly upheld by SCOTUS.
