I don't know about America specifically, but for the western world in general i guess:
•russia running disinformation campaigns and generally trying to undo the fabric of society one thread at a time
•foreign interests buying up politicians
•weak pathetic politicians that can be bought up in the first place
•domestic interests undoing the laws of capitalism, calling any opposition "communism". This will lead to phenomena such as child labor being reintroduced
•native populations forced to compete with billions of indians that live in slums 20 per room.
This leads to the natives becoming increasingly homeless and drug addicted to cope with high social expectations
