this is bullshit, there is a ton of genuinely good media with high intelligence, good black characters. atlanta and boondocks, just to name two where black characters are written intelligently.
even in shitty shows though, it is basically impossible to find a black character that isn't purely good, because otherwise it would be a negative stereotype, and those only apply to white people.
