An increasing number of people here are living unfulfilling lives. Unfulfilling, but not unbearable.
People are slaves to their addictions. People can't go a single day without eating goyslop, watching porn, hitting their vape pen, playing video games etc. These vices keep people pacified and relaxed for now. Sure, your life might not be fulfilling, but you can at least live to goon another day. That's better than being dead or subject to brutal psychological torment for the rest of your life.
People are more atomized than ever. I grew up in the 90s and I remember back in the 90s, every adult was constantly whining about there being teenagers on the streets and how we gotta get those damn teens off the street. Well, now the teens are off the street, hanging out in their rooms using the internet all day instead of hanging out together. Young adults used to have the ability to make older adults' lives hell. They would do it for fun. Just little petty acts of rebellion for the lulz. Today's teenagers are fucking pussies. They're all afraid of authority figures and they're afraid of getting canceled. If more than 3 of them ever got together to plan something rebellious, Palantir would alert their school principal before they even had a chance to carry it out.
