There is no contradictions under capitalism. Everyone votes with their wallet, sellers set prices, buyers buy what they want at the price they are ok with. Its literal democracy in action, but for economic stuff. The government part is protecting people's right to own shit, aka capital.

I think if you apply utopic standards to capitalism, which makes it regulated capitalism, you must do the same to communism. I have issues with an all powerful central authority determining who gets what because it is rife for corruption, but if such an authority was held to an impossibly high standard like you would need to hold capitalism to, it would also function just fine. Again, humanity is the issue. Informational flow, actually the lack of it, is what kills any economy. In capitalism, said information is hoarded and then wielded as a form of power and advantage over others. In communism, information cannot flow from the needy and the productive to the central authority because the people in that central authority perceive that information to be a contradiction to their competency and therefore their authority. How some faggot in an office can know what is truly needed is beyond me, and yet in the late stages of both capitalism and communism you arrive at that same scenario of almost autocratic know-nothings that have hoarded authority not through effort or skill but through subterfuge, corruption, and sheer luck.
