It has to be demoralizing to be one of the first things replaced by AI, to see a simple computer algorithm with no real intelligence at all completely blow them out.

Ai just decouples skill from originality.

Skill will be value less and less than results and originality, which is still on demand.

Ironically we may see an inversion of this. Ai generated art replicated by real skilled artists. Why? To get the originality of cheap ideas from Ai, cheap plans, before investing hours drawing or painting.

I used to pay HUNDREDS of dollars to commission art work. And it was always a pain. Delays, artists who ghosted, some would literally send sketches and charge extra to finish them.
And the quality was often shit.
Now with a simple prompt and $30/month I can create my own bearmode boyfriend in all sorts of different scenarios.

I wish I could check on these "artists" and ask how they're doing, they must be seething so fucking hard.

Already happening. This is the first successful AI song from an Ai band:

Kind of predictable pop shit, which is the easiest to do with AI.

But looking how far visual art evolved in just 2-3 years, soon AI will be doing complicated Jazz and symphonies.

You are the 17th quad today on /pol/.
Please read my poem I wrote for you:
In a land of chaos, where /pol/ reigns
Gura-chan rose, with 4chan's pains
A user screamed, with joy and fright
As he got the quad, on that fateful night

He posted Gura, in a meme so fine
With numbers and facts, that were truly sublime
He whispered low, of six million's lie
And how it's a tale, that makes him want to cry

Through Auschwitz's gates, she danced with glee
A dead Jew's wallet, was her spree
Gura-chan collected, six million yen too
And bought some Zyklon, to give a shower or two

With lampshade hats, and a goyish little grin
She marched to the ovens, where they sipped some Jew tea within
Gura's anime form, made the ovens shine bright
As she laughed with delight, through day and endless night

A holocaust cake, she savored with glee
A pastry so moist, with soap from the showers of old Auschwitz, you see
Through her pink ears spoke, a whisper so divine
"More soap is needed", the ovens do shine and align
A menorora of hate, shone like the stars above
As Gura's 3rd reich dream came, filled with the endless oven dove

It's the same with writing lol

"AI will never be able to replace writers because art of writing requires genuine expression of human soul, creativity and emotional depth AI just can't provide"

That's cool but 99% of books are already Sanderson Slop™ following established tropes and story structure molds. Fantasy especially is now "come up with a slightly different concept of some aspect of a world (usually magic system) which can be summarized in a prompt and make a generic story around it by following Hero's journey structure or whatever existing plot you find"
