the sanctions war and the excessive war-spending were an all-in gamble by the EU (usa as well but not as severely). they never thought they'd lose and didn't properly consider the ramifications. it's unfixable now.

USA's problem is similar - wasted resources on the war and assorted schemes that end when they lose. The ability to roll-over the debt is getting shorter. I think the fall-out of losing the war will tip things over.

Money is no longer created as debt owed to a bank with interest. Now money is created without having to be paid back. As old treasury bonds mature they are paid out in USD created on demand.
