I have a jew (rat) infestation in my house, how do I get rid of them? I hear them on my ceiling/roof and I don't have the time or money to call for the aryan exterminators.

pellet gun with a scope and zero it in properly. bait them with peanut butter or cat food and aim for headshots. I had a rat problem a couple years ago, attacking my birds, after a few weeks of that I haven't seen a single one and bird attacks have dropped to zero.

big rats will, yeah. they were attacking 2-3lb birds and a rat bite or scratch can cause mad infection. if you are going catmode then adopt an adult cat from ASPCA that has not just been indoors its whole life, im sure if you ask them they can recommend you which ones are hunters. old people die and their adult cats don't get adopted because everyone wants a kitten, so I'm sure they will be down to help you save a catto and solve your problem at the same time.

Since its in an attic don't bother with the bait station, just cut them in half and toss them wherever you hear the noise. Its just flavored cubes with vitamin k.
