Why is all of this in a simple Chic-Fil-A chicken sandwich in America? Realistically, what is the purpose of all of this? Why can't it just be chicken? Do they poison americans on purpose?

>A new law requires Chick-fil-A and other businesses to print out a list of ingredients in their chicken and this man is furious at whatโ€™s in a simple chicken sandwich.

Preservation.
Huge scale food production has been a pretty substantial failure because of the race to the bottom putting in as many preservatives as possible to allow stuff to last until it's used because they're doing the "just in time" supply system. So everytihng's in a gross bag and they dump it into a sheet pan and reheat it, then serve it to you.
As far as why chik-fil-a, probably someone thought it was a good idea to show "everything" on the label, going overboard. Honesty is normally one of the "good" aspects of Christian people.

Preservatives are harmless and easily filtered out of the body within 24 hours. Only retarded faggots like yourself from poor shithole nations with laughable economies complain about it. Nobody gives a fuck about your shithole country that produces nothing. you are a literal rape victim still coping about the rape America did to you in WW2. Ignoring your faggot reply too because itโ€™s womanly.

I noticed this even before they started printing the ingredients. My parents took me to chic fil a one time when they were visiting. I looked up the ingredients and was horrified. You wanna know another crazy thing? Their pickles have artifical yellow dye in them for some reason. Why the hell would you put toxic dye in pickles of all things?

Sheesh. This is why I cook at home most of the time and buy organic

Yeah now that you mention it I don't see it at the local restaurant either. Apparently they use different ingredients depending on the location. I know I saw it on there though at one in wisconsin because I remember it vividly. It looks like some of them don't have dye which is good.

They already had the ingredients on their sauces and they were completely goyslop with soibean oil being the main ingredient. This doesn't surprise me. I stopped eating there when they changed the chicken source to a cheapass on and it started giving me diarrhea. The chicken has been dead for weeks or maybe months before you eat it, it's spoiled. I wouldn't trust any processed food in late stage capitalism. I pretty much only eat ingredients.

>Chicken
Go figure
>Water
Go figure
>Enriched wheat flour
This is just barley flour treated with B vitamins
>fully refined peanut oil
This is their cooking oil, although it has an anti-foam agent: dimethylsiloxane. Dimethylsiloxane is basically inert rubber. It is used to make cooking with oil safer. Food regulators refer to it as E900.
>Sugar, salt
Go figure
>MSG
Monosodium Glutamate is a very tasty protein. Some people are sensitive to it, it gives them diarrhea. Do you like Chinese food? They use a lot of it.
>Pasteurized nonfat dry milk
It is milk.
>Leavening
Sodium bicarbonate is baking soda. Aluminum phosphate is the acid found in baking powder. Monocalcium phosphate is also an acid
>Spices
idk
>Basedbean oil
It is a seed oil -- cheap, and full of neutral oils. They are basically always heat-pressed, so they aren't very healthy.
>Paprika
It is a spice
>Pasteurized egg
Egg

There's very little wrong with those ingredients.

>Sodium aluminum phosphate
Bad, it's in most baking powder, aluminum causes brain damage and dementia
>Monosodium glutamate
Bad, Msg, flavor enhancer. Causes Chinese restaurant syndrome.

>Bleached and unbleached enriched flour
Flour treated with B vitamins, again. Of course, it is usually better to eat the bran of the kernels, too. Always use whole wheat.
>water, sugar, basedbean oil, salt
Already talked about
>yeast
It is yeast.
>vital wheat gluten
Wheat with high gluten. Gluten is a protein that has a nice texture.
>vinegar
Vinegar. Probably just for taste, but it may be important for the baking process.
>Calcium propionate
Calcium salt of propanoic acid. Propanoic acid is a bacterial metabolite -- you are exposed to some amount of this, regardless. It inhibits mold and bacterial growth, but it is metabolized easily. Some studies link it to migraines, ymmv.
>organic acids
idk
>monoglycerides
Fats. Too vague to know any more.
>Sesame flour
guess
>DATEM
Diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono and diglycerides. They are used to improve the gluten structure of bread, but they are used in quantities shown to impact gut flora. Ymmv.
>lecithin
Emulsifier. Not a significant amount, either. Lecithin is found in basedbeans and eggs. It is harmless.
>natural flavor
idk
>beta carotene
This is what makes pumpkins and carrots orange. It is metabolized into Vitamin A. Eat your fruits and vegetables, everyone.
>pickles
It's fine. This entire ingredients list is pretty tame. The only things I'd reconsider are DATEM and to stop bleaching the flour.

It's a chicken sandwich that's been breaded and deepfried.
It's not a plain raw chicken.

We have very strict food labeling requirements here. Everything has to be listed, unlike in England. I'm sure you've seen the picture comparing England and American versions of products, virs only shorter for England because they aren't required to everything

If you don't want breaded and deepfried chicken, then buy raw chicken.

Because then it wouldn't be a chicken sandwich, it would just be completely unseasoned chicken.

In the USA an ingredient list includes all the parts. While in the EU they can get away with saying something like whole grain bread, leaving out all the things that go into being bread.

Chick-fil-A isn't now or ever Mormon owned.
Closest you could get to a near Mormon fast food chain was Sconecutter or Dee's (both gone now). We used to have THE BEST cafeterias in the Temples and The Lion House at Temple Square, but sadly both are also gone. Utah and the Saints have a pick-me, non culture today. It's getting pathetic.
