I have a model that works for me.

The Father - the part of God that exists outside of space and time. Can see all of space and all of time at the same time.

The Son - the human incarnation of God that lives inside of space and time and existed for a brief period. Was created with part human and part Godly components so he was fully human and fully God.

The Holy Spirit - the part of God that acts as an interface between us living within space and time and God living outside of it. Like God's dendrite cells that can fully interact with us at a molecular level.

It's not biblical, but it works for me and helps me to understand. When I'm praying now, The Holy Spirit acts as the telephone which transmits the signals out. He (it?) can also transmit signals in so that I can perceive them.
