We Norwegioids have a geographic advantage. Your island is relatively flat and accessible, which allows for norfeners to freely breed with soufeners so the dysgenics takes effect all over the place. But our population is geographically spread and separated in various valleys and fjords. This restricts the genetic flow somewhat and therefore it's possible to achieve a greater eugenic effect.
