The claim that Epstein had a client list and was running an international child abuse and blackmail ring among the world elites came from the QAnon board. Not the FBI, not an investigative journalist, it was a bunch of boomers gaslighting each other and irresponsible Youtubers and social media influencers ran with it, just like the claim that Dominion voting machines were hooked up to the internet and rigged the 2020 election. The primary source for the "epstein client list" existing was a post on the QAnon board. If you look at Donald Trump's approval rating, it's gone up since his administration denied "the client list" existing, not down. To him it's in the same boat as the JFK files, there is information of public interest in there but no bombshell like QAnon claims there is.

If you see people bitching and moaning about "we have to keep the pressure on" or "Trump is handing us rope to hang him with" you are talking to someone who has been had by QAnon, either directly or indirectly, and that includes a lot of Youtubers. Epstein was guilty of kidnapping abusing young girls and so were a few of his friends, but the claim that he had blackmail footage of every world leader and top 1% elite is a bunch of wishful thinking bullshit started by QAnon. Just like with January 6, Trump had no idea that a portion of his base was more invested in conspiracy theories than his own word, and when the QAnon crowd started making noise there was a massive culture shock and Trump is now distancing himself from the fringe.

Epstein is connected to Israel, this is why Trump is covering it up. He doesn't want to risk the political fallout for Israel when people realize all of Epstein's clients were blackmailed and used as Israeli assets (including Trump himself).

Epstein was also associated with the Wexner Foundation, which supports Jewish leadership and has ties to Israel. His financial backer, Leslie Wexner, was a member of the “Mega Group,” a collection of Jewish philanthropists, which some, like former NSA counterspy John Schindler, have speculated was linked to Israeli intelligence operations, though no hard evidence supports this. Epstein reportedly invested in an Israeli startup, Reporty Homeland Security (later rebranded as Carbyne), connected to Israel’s defense industry, further fueling speculation."

If you've read social media posts that are repeating conspiracy theory talking points that began there, then you have been influenced by QAnon. It doesn't matter how many social media influencers or youtubers down the line you go the information, it still began on QAnon and QAnon is never right about anything.
