If you can get the women out of there, disinfect and clean them well, and then train them, you can have a halfway decent sex slave for a reasonable price.

Nigeria and Ethiopia are the heartland of Africa. Both are legitimate civilizations surrounded by the clownworld that is the rest of Africa. If they could get their shit together for five fucking minutes, they might even be decent places to live in the future. But I am not hopeful of that scenario.

I feel like nigerias population is too large for success, as for Ethiopia it would probably need to combine with one of the other horn countries to not be landlocked

Somalia is unfixable, Djibouti is the best case scenario, and Eritrea is only slightly less unfixable than Somalia. Nigeria is in a similar situation to Ethiopia. They have been digging themselves into a deep hole for decades, and no one thought to bring a ladder. Bad leadership that is not interested in unity, horrible socialist programs that fuck everything up, and endemic corruption of every institution they have. Both of them are depressing, but at least their foundation isn't dry rotted like most of Africa.

Eitheria would be a long term investment. You are right, they are culturally close, but the current government is closer to North Korea than most people realize. It would take generations to fix that, or if they are lucky, one awesome generation. Nigeria is a mess, you are 100% right. Its economic issues can't be solved as easily as Ethiopia's. I don't even know where to start with Nigeria. If I were in charge of fixing either, I would be like pic related.

Yeah, those are good comparisons. I agree. Djibouti has something to work with, but that is exactly the reason they haven't combined into one nation. It would benefit Ethiopia, but it wouldn't benefit Djibouti. If I were Ethiopia, I would try to make Eritrea attack Djibouti to give them a reason to have closer ties, but that could open up a can of worms. And if they actually pulled it off, that would be horrible for everyone involved. They need an incentive. It's like looking for a Christmas gift for a rich relative. What the hell could they possibly want?
