I love my dog. I got him as a puppy and trained him into the machine he is today. He follows my every command without fault. Doesn’t jump. Doesn’t bark. He can even let himself out the back door to take a crap in his spot, far from the house. My dog is a dog, not a baby, not a doggo, not a pupper.
And more importantly he comes second to my children, he is not a surrogate for the ones I never had. Nothing makes me more disgusted than childless women with some untrained mutt pretending it’s their “fur baby”.
