I went and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Crowded and dirty sure, but not a complete train wreck. Of course I was in Mumbai, which is basically their best city. Good luck if you go to any other cities or small towns. It also helps that you will be wealthy comparatively, so you can afford to rise above most of the crap. But you know, over a billion people are there, surviving for decades. If you can't survive there, does that mean they are stronger than you?
