My friend bought a BMW 320d and is very happy with his purchase, I've never seen him so happy honestly. He said it's the best car he's ever driven and the whitest car brand there ever is because it's produced in Munchen, the birthplace of the white civilization. I do not understand cars too much but from what I've read on the Internet, including /pol/, BMWs suck, are unreliable and are driven from people who do not know cars at all and that TOYOTA is the white man's car brand. How do I make him feel bad about buying a BMW? Do I tell him that if he wants to live in the white ethonstate, he must drive a Toyota?

They're expensive to repair, but they're a nice ride. They don't last all that long though 90-130k miles. Maybe 200-250k if you go easy on it and keep up with routine maintenance.

Your friend is correct. The 3 series e47 and e92 are basically the best coupe you can buy with very little money because they depreciate like cunts. Not the most reliable but anyone with a bit of mechanical knowledge, anyone can keep them in working order. Very fun and well built cars. E90 diesels engines are quite reliable compared to new bmws and can be easily tuned for slight hp increase. Enthusiasts choose manual for fun in winter. Models with electric steering rack are prone for failure without aftermarket support thus making repairs underneath the car quite expensive if incorrect model is chosen.

I have an n62 engine. What's shit about it? Apart from the alternator bracket gasket issue and stem seals going bad (which most engines have issues with) I see absolutely nothing wrong with it and I use it all the time. BMW 6 pots are what they're known for though.
