Apocalyptic thinking, black and white thinking, thinking in forms of supremacy, prophecies, like being the chosen by god are all common psychotic delusions that people on the psychosis/schizophrenia spectrum suffer. Its possible that their behavior as a group is strongly impacted by their genetic predisposition to these mental health problems.
