Young people were tricked into taking out massive loans on the promise of employment prospects that never materialized. Unless you got straight into a high paying job, you will never be able to pay back the loan, the interest growing out of control.

I don't know how things were in the US, but over here, they made us sign up for university in school. The idea of not going to university did not exist, it was as sure as going from one school year to the next. Life was on a rail until university ended and you are suddenly you are on your own with zero guidance.

I've never taken a loan in my life. I have 2 vehicles, a camper, 4 bedroom house, etc. All paid off without getting a jew involved. And I never went to college and accomplished this all by 31. Why should I feel sympathetic towards retards who fall for obvious scams? And they are blatantly obvious. It's not my fault others are retarded.

In the late 90s to early 2000s, everyone I knew was taking out massive student loans to get degrees in things like business management or stuff in medical. They all wound up working in warehouses and fast food.

It seems that no one who racks up a bunch of debt to learn a profession is capable of understanding that part of paying that debt means actually doing the fucking thing you got the degree for.

I don't think it was really about degress in bad professions as much as it was people just wanting to fuck around and not getting jobs until they were absolutely forced to, and subsequently now don't make enough to pay for anything because they can't manage that either.
