You need to live close to work retard. Anyway I’ve already figured out a solution but I’m still a 90-120 min drive away from work.

Needs some TLC. Couple friends, a dump trailer and a few racks of beer and you'd get the interior back into shape. It's an old, old house, so the city would give you some grant money for repairs. Totally doable, it's just hard work. Not a flip though, bad location, you'd have to live there.

>countryside
It's an old coal mining town full of tweakers. That's not the countryside. You are literally sharing a wall with your crackhead neighbor.

Guarantee you that house is full of bugs, has plumbing issues, and the power goes out every time it rains.

I want to buy the cheap plot of land along the beach in a flood risk area and build a beach cottage, the idea is to commit highway robbery with vending machines and Airbnb. I did the cost and it would cost 30-40k to build. The floor plan consist of 500 square feet of decking and a 200 squarefoot studio apartment with an attic crawl space for batteries and a water tank for rain collection.

It would have 3- 4 kw of solar panels with 8-13 batteries. 2 vending machines, a washer dryer combo, and a shower/bathroom stall on the base floor with a ground pump and septic system in the front away from the water table. A kitchenette galley with a sink and prep table.

The idea is that one could wake up, make coffee, and watch wild horse as the sun rises along the beach. Then a person can fish the surf for seatrout. When the house is not in use, it serves as a beach access for people to use the vending machine in a secluded part of the beach, 5-6 miles away from the nearest grocery store. The structure would allow for it to survive high surf, and during high winds the solar panels can be stored in the attic.
