>>510813055 (OP)It really is the Santa Claus of politics.
No grown up ever talks about it. It's only children, naive college kids, and braindead elderly boomers whose entire window to the world has been the television for the entirety of their lives.
Does pollution and carbon emission affect the climate? Who knows... What we do know is they keep blatantly lying about the data and how they present it. Nobody with a couple of brain cells should see that and not instinctively be skeptical of what they say.
Then there's the endless funding grifts around it.
Does human activity ever affect the weather? No shit it does. Some countries literally seed clouds. Not to mention whatever other bs they're up to.
Can we control it? Not really. Even if we could, other countries would be doing their own shit screwing everything up.
Furthermore, let's say pollution does affect it. Cool. Now what do you do about that? Make some countries suffer while others continue to pollute?
It's a question of how much lying around a subject should there be before you call the entire thing a lie?
At what point is something so twisted, so exaggerated, and so weaponized you can call it a hoax?
