The bugs killing Florida Orange Groves is an asian bug that wasn't a problem before last year when suddenly it appeared in mass all across Orange Groves all over Florida, suggesting someone spread them.
The first result looking up the wheat killing fungus turns up an article about how there's a witch hunt against Chinese people, but then further looking says two chinese nationals are known to be involved, one is hiding in China, the other claimed he had no idea what they found in his suitcase and then said "ohhh that, well I was planning on bringing that to the research lab I work for, I just forgot it was in my suitcase" so fuck that guy and fuck the michigan lab for trying to cover for him.
The ticks were first found in the US in 2017, in New Jersey of all places, and have been found in a number of other states since then.
This is the first time they've been found in Michigan and there's debate whether that was on purpose or if the changing seasons making tick season longer is responsible.
