Indian CEOs of US companies they didn't start is a fucking intentional scheme based off PAINFUL lessons the US companies learned from doing business with the Chinese.

Before China's rise, US companies would venture into China to setup shop and capitalize off the growing Chinese markets. However, over time the Chinese developed the "Feed, Trap, Kill" strategy which eventually allowed China to develop the domestic equivalents of these US tech giants.

Now fast forward to expanding to ever new markets. We then have India which is another mega sized potential economy of a billion plus people. This time how do you prevent Indians from learning how to develop these technologies and make home grown competitors?

And you do that by allowing Indians to run the companies thus everyday Indians already see these US companies as 'Indian' in spirit. This way you can grow your market presence in India without motivating the locals to rather make their own version like the Chinese did and keep the money in their borders.
