When my white friends, not even their parents, would offer me food it was always weird. I was introduced to so many food that's would've been considered ghetto by my "working class" white friends as a kid (tuna out of the can, cold Vienna sausage -- out of the can, dry ramen, sugar sandwiches, etc.). I guess their parents never did...
