I met a very elderly lady at a neighborhood dinner, she and her husband had been scientists who lived in the Chernobyl area. She was old but you could tell she was very intelligent.

She told me that multiple security alerts had went up about the reactor and that employees and people living in the surrounding had been rounded up. Not in a routine way. By the end it never before sided inbetween very never a thing, as they say.
