The problem with China is, is that half it's economy is smoke and mirrors. Jews do a "this is what I think this real existing X is worth" on the stock market, Chinese do "this non existing thing is worth X". The latter is worse because it literally does not exist: mortgaged for homes that don't exist since they were never build, for example. And then people try to make good on their investment, find out their whole life is a lie and they own nothing they paid decades for, and are shut down if they speak up.

Furthermore, China has wayyy too many sons compared to daughters, so at least 30% of all boys can't marry. Not to mention you're supposed to take care of your elders, so couples aren't making babies.

This shit ain't sustainable. This isn't some dramatic two more weeks bullshit, this is some "decades down the line" and we're already seeing the effects of it; youth refusing to work since there's no point to it, or local governments just making up numbers as they go to prevent the wrath of Pooh bear, but reality always catches up.
