considering every single miner i've ever seen on both tv and in historical documents comes from the utter bottom of the barrel place, looks like an extra out of deliverance, and seems to be falling apart basically dead by 60, i'd say yeah

True. Coal dust is awful for you, 3 of my immediate family worked down the mines for years, every one of them got COPD. It's a terrible job, if you want cheap plentiful energy then go nuclear. If you want to provide jobs then I guess its an option, but why the fuck would anyone want to work down the pit is beyond me, it's not worth the health complications.

Well it's a necessary job, so offer hazard pay and health benefits, or people will recognize the risk outweighs the reward and not take said job.
Another great example of the free market in action.

Yeah kek, I live in a coal mining town and pretty much everyone here dies of cancer at like 50 kek. My dad has kidney cancer that's spread to his lungs and my Uncle died of esophageal cancer. They both worked in the mines. My family seethes because i work at Dunkin Donuts instead of working in the mines but I'm going to outlive them all and inherit all of their money.

Well you would have to increase the amount of gas and nuclear reactors a lot and it takes decades to do that, so even if that was your plan and you did it perfectly you would still need coal for quite a while.

New Jersey's utilities costs just went through the roof because they shuttered all their coal plants (they were going to replace them with wind and solar, el oh el) so now they have to buy energy from other grids

The dumb nigger governor of Maryland is trying his hardest to shut down the coal fired electric generator that I get almost all of my power from. He was told "fuck you" by the power company because there is literally nothing else that can take its place. The goddamn faggot democrats who run this state have been trying to shut down the Calvert Cliffs nuke plant for years because it's too old but they won't let anyone build a new reactor to take its place. Again there's nothing that can make up for that. I was thinking about this last week when is was cloudy and almost no wind at all. These faggots want to build giant wind farms to power a tiny state with six million people in it. When someone asks them what happens when there's no wind and it's cloudy they never answer the question they just attack you for being a nazi or something.
Look how small the footprint is on this power plant.

There's also way better sources of energy available that they are keeping hidden and secret from science. This situation here on this planet is fucking ridiculous. I shit you not it is the biggest saddest (genuinely sad) joke ever.
But no you gotta keep them going after the coal in them mines 'cus it makes that fiat currency economy better or some shit. Fucking stage play for a species of downtrodden dregs.

Lol, grow up! Prices for everything only goes up. The only thing that changes is rate. People at the top collect the differences and make more money. Extremely low percentage of change ever makes it to the middle or poor class.
