Cause everything has gotten really expensive, money is constantly inflated and there's very few high paying jobs for new grads even with college degrees. These kids are trying to live a lifestyle of a previous generation with much less wealth, millenials went through something similar though not as bad

Not really. I just buy lots of eggs and eat the eggs, between 16-24 eggs per day. I'm not much for newer games these days.

like okay, I'm a millennial, pretty late millennial - my mother was a mid-gen-x type who had a child at a young age, I'm giving you this info as background
because she actually maxed out all her cards, which taught me to not use credit and only spend what I had, I only use debit cards, because my mum fucked up our family doing that shit

have we rapidly accelerated so quickly that Gen Z are now back to borrowing?
I can only speak for myself but as a millennial under these circumstances there is no fucking way I'm ever taking a credit card
I couldn't afford it

people always cry how they can't live without debt because they are retarded consumer cattle competing with other goyim to one up each other. the goy is the enabler of judaism no other way around it. if your wife has to have a 30.000 kitchen to be better than the other women in her friend circle then you will never be able to save money regardless of how much you earn. do you have to smoke or drink? another few hundred in your pocket every month. do you need that 50.000 car to go from a to b? another few hundred saved. i despise faggots here who say they can't make it with 2-3k when when both are working. these retarded niggers belong in woodchippers

it should be, an emergency
the problem is that it's not used as such by the people who need it for that
it's used as a way of getting through to payday for most people, and this was the problem with the credit implosion in the mid-2010s, alongside the the housing bubble bursting
all that unpaid credit coming back to bite everyone on the arse

its even worse now, like anon said, with people part-paying on delivered meals, the credit scam is more pervasive than ever before
be real sad if after teaching a whole generation of people to be apprehensive about credit, we all get dragged back to the recession by zoomers who can't afford pizza

It's the new shill line to claim the great recession where 200 people would apply to a single supermarket job was "not as bad" because retarded 18yos today complain they can't afford all the shit they see on tiktok with their mcwagie job at amazon's warehouse. It's just another piece of the bullshit pie, like claiming "most" millennials own their own homes now, but simultaneously are also priced out by housing cost increases. They'll just lie forever and at the end of it they'll admit millennials are fucked but you're 50 years old so there's nothing to do about it.
>37-38
That would make the millennial generation only 1980-1987, I don't know why no one on /pol/ has ever seemed to understand this, but generations are 15-20 years.

Indeed the problem being the conversation itself.
It's made exclusively to try to dig a divide between generation.
Op made a disingenuous post out of context and a bunch of morons are going to throw their 2 lines about how much they hate zoomer then go away.
See the only interesting part of that article wasn even mentioned nor by OP. Certainly not by anyone in this thread.
It's how you manipulate low IQ animal with their emotion.
You take something out of it's context and you create a new one to generate a specific emotion.
Now peoples are talking about zoomer being irresponsible with money instead of the economy being pants on head retarded and the banksters enslaving another generation.
OP is a Eglin poster.

If you pay off the card in full each month, credit cards can be better than debit cards. You get added protections and sometimes various rewards/cashback. Or if you really want to be a jew, you can get 0% cards, pay the minimum, and stick the rest in savings until the 0% rate ends (don't do this if you're about to get something like a mortgage though).

Yes, 100% yes, would it fix everyone? No, would it fix a lot of people? yes
Because i shit you not a lot of people think that "Oh I can buy this with credit, and i just gotta pay it back over 3 months at 20% interest? That means if something is 100 bucks i only gotta pay 120 bucks?! wow that does not sound so bad."
But they have no idea that its compounding interest at 20% per month
Yes i think teaching people how money works is a fucking amazing idea.

30 hours a week at state minimum wage would only be enough to cover my half of the rent+utilities plus my bills if we had a shitty cheap internet connection, shared discounted phone plan, and I ate rice beans broccoli and chicken every day.
And I'd be broke down to zero every single paycheck.
No car payment, minimums insurance, no savings.
A lot of people have to live like this simply because there are only so many jobs that can hire full time and pay above min.

The reality is its impossible for everyone to be employed fully and paid half-decent, regardless of wishes and wants and should-be. If my circumstance changes and I have to take one of those underemployed underpaid jobs I'd be completely fucked as soon as I need a major car repair/car replacement.

Almost no hotels allow you to book with a debit card. They want some sort of assurance that they can charge you in case you steal shit or fuck the room up

Just wait till the collection account gets sold like 2 or 3 times and then offer the Indian call center worker like 10% of the original amount.

I'm just asking because I once had to sleep in a fucking field because I needed car repairs after a breakdown on a cross-country trip. I had plenty of cash for a room, but because I also didn't have a credit card at the time I couldn't find a hotel in the town that would let me book. Not a single fucking one

People donโ€™t know how to make the most of their food, they buy overpriced processed crap, snacks, and takeaway meals.

There is nothing wrong with using credit cards BUT they are predatory and will take advantage of stupid people who are not educated enough on how credit works.

I use mine basically as a debit card and it always gets paid off immediately, It makes it easy for me to track my spending and keep an eye on my financed while also building up my credit in case I ever need money.

Short term I build up points and rewards, long term I can get lower interest loans and higher limits if needed.
But again this is because my Dad taught me early on how to be financially stable and take advantage of such things responsibly.

Food in Canada is pricy, but honestly my wife and I cook almost everything we eat and itโ€™s never that terrible finance wise.

I live in a big farming region too so I always stop by local markets to pick up the fresh veggies when they get some in.

Got a huge load of fresh corn today from the recent harvest.
And we can still easily afford some specialty things since we donโ€™t waste tons of money on single-meal processed junk.

>there are only so many jobs that can hire full time and pay above min
The question is why the number of "good" jobs has not scaled with population growth, or rather, why it seems that employment has gone to shit.

My answer is that economy functions like a heat engine. Greater heat differential accomplishes greater work. Thus more income disparity makes people do more. In the boomers' time, the country was running on war spoils, so everyone could have an equal share of wealth because the really shitty jobs were being offloaded to third world countries and immigrants. In our current time though, due to automation and loss of world domination, the majority of our labor market is made up of shitty jobs that nobody really wants to do. Counterintuitively, the way you get people to do shitty jobs is not by paying them more. Rather you pay them poorly so they remain poor and thus are motivated by both greed and necessity.

Paying people well to do shitty jobs would eventually make them financially stable, and they would then create their own micro-economy (small business) which does not feed into the main control structure. And the jews definitely do not want that.

It has, people are just not taught about fields that aren't the most popular. Like engineering, most people will try to end up mechanical or computer. But geotechnical, civil, and environmental are always hiring. Likewise with being a lawyer. How many try to go into corporate or defense, but never look into land? It's like that all over, where the niche fields are desperate for workers but everyone tries to get into the popular fields and don't even know the rest exist.

If people have to turn to niche fields for employment, that means that "good" jobs have definitely not scaled. Otherwise there would be the same availability of the mainstream jobs, which is obviously not the case.
