Why does no one from the Anglosphere believe me when I tell them that Germany is a majority ahtiest country? Just because you guys are the last remaining practicing christians? Yes, the religious affiliation statistics only show association with (political and social) institutions, not personal religious devotion. Besides that, much more young people are openly atheist than boomers, but since our median age is 45, it doesn't show as clearly, since our media institutions depict only what old people want them to.
