Politically speaking, what are electric vehicles gonna mean for our future freedom of movement?

"Red Barchetta" tells the story of a future where certain cars are banned by a "Motor Law." The narrator's uncle preserves a classic red Barchetta, and every Sunday, the narrator sneaks out to drive it, experiencing the thrill of freedom while evading the authorities.
